HOW TO CREATE MEDIA REQUEST LINKS (MRL)

A Media Request Link (MRL) simplifies the process of collecting photos by allowing Vidigami users to quickly upload media to a designated Page or Album. By creating and sharing an MRL, users can efficiently request and gather specific content.

    What we cover:

    1. What is an MRL

    2. How to set up your roles/pages to use the MRL

    3. How to Create an MRL

    4. How to Bulk Create MRLs for a Schools Year

    TIP
MRL links cannot be generated for the Page level (only albums) when the "albums required" setting is enabled within their page permissions.

Any Vidigami user (photographers, staff, teachers, students & parents) who have the correct permissions can upload media to the container using an MRL.

This feature allows users to select photos and/or videos and upload them with a single click to the exact location you specify, such as 'Sports Day,' 'Graduation 2026,' or 'Year-End Talent Show.'

Ensure that all contributing users have the necessary permissions. You can find more information about custom roles and page permissions here.
