The Global Search Bar, at the top of any Vidigami Page, allows users to search for all tags across Vidigami. All Tags added to photos and / or videos (whether manually or inherited) will be searchable in the Global Search Bar.
Search Functions
The following search operators or functions allow users to combine multiple tags and refine their Search.
{space] / no operator - This is an OR function. Using the example below, you will be searching for media that has the tag arts or the tag grade 2.
+ added between keywords - This is an AND function. Using the example below, you will be searching for media that has both arts and 2nd grade as tags.
Filtering
Searching for a tag will pull all the media from all years that has the tag(s). You can use the dropdown to filter by media type (image or video). You can also sort by date or File Name.
In addition, you can limit the items by types of Keywords, Tags, or Titles:
Search Media by User Name
Type a registered user name to pull all media where they have been tagged by a Face or People Tag.
Search for a Collection, Page, or Album
If you type in the name of a Collection, Page, or Album you will see the media located there.
