DOWNLOADING MEDIA IN VIDIGAMI

In Vidigami you have the ability to download individually selected media or in bulk when the user has the correct permissions.

Part 1: Downloading Permissions

To be able to download images, the user needs to have downloading permissions enabled. 

Basic Download allows a user to download one image at a time with web resolution quality.

Original Quality Download allows the users to download multiple photos (or whole containers) with original upload quality. 


Part 2: Downloading Selected Media in a Page or Album

In this section, we will go over two scenarios  of downloading, manually and multiple selection. 

You can always download a photo in lightbox view.

Part 3: Bulk Download media on a Page or Album.

Here are the steps to download all media in a container.

Part 4: Downloading on the Mobile App

Permissions required to download multiple photos at a time require you to have “full quality download”

To download one image: 

  1. Click into any photo.
  2. Click on the cloud icon to download.
  3. Select Web (low res) or Original (full res). (only appears if you have the permission to do so)
  4. Click on Download. 

To Download multiple images: 

  1. Go into an album/page gallery view.
  2. Select multiple images that you want to download.
  3. Click the cloud icon at the top of the container.
  4. Select either web quality and original quality. (only appears if you have the permission to do so) 
  5. Click on Download.

Be aware, you cannot bulk download media through the mobile app
